Top 5 Best Anti-Snore Devices of 2024

Updated: Sep 25th, 2024

Snoring may not seem like a big problem to many people, but it has the potential to cause repeated bad nights of sleep for both the snorer and anybody who shares a bed or a house with them.

Snoring is caused by relaxed muscles in the face and throat which can restrict the airflow into the lungs, making the muscles and tissues vibrate with every breath. The sound can be very loud and wake the snorer up, disturbing their sleep and causing them to be grumpy and tired the next day.

Those who are suffering from allergies, are overweight or sleep on their back are most likely to be snorers requiring treatment. We decided to try out a variety of anti-snore products to see which ones actually worked and which ones were gimmicks. We tested wristbands, mouthguards, nose openers, chin straps and even a snore stopping spray.

It’s clear that many products claim to be able to stop you from snoring but not all of them live up to the advertising. Here we’ll take a look at the top 5 products we reviewed, some of the solutions we tried didn’t even make it to our list because they performed so poorly. But one product, a snore-stopping wristband called Sleep Connection, came out as the clear winner, let’s see why.

Each anti-snoring device made its way onto this list based on the following:

  • Ease of Use and Maintenance
  • Quality of the Device
  • Pros and Cons (Side Effects)
  • Pricing, Discounts, and Shipping
  • Customer Reviews
  • Value for the Price

Things to consider when buying anti-snore products

Firstly, you need to address the cause of why you are snoring to look for the best solution as some of the products on our list only addressed certain causes. For example, if your snoring takes place mainly from relaxed throat muscles then a mouthpiece is going to work better than a chinstrap which pulls the face tight, and a nasal strip will work better for congestion.

However, we found that Sleep Connection worked across different types of snoring because it is not targeting one specific type. It gives you a gentle nudge no matter what the cause of snoring is so that you do not wake up but move enough to stop the snore.

A huge issue with snoring products is comfort. We found this out the hard way. What our team really did not like were the products that were uncomfortable or difficult to wear when you are trying to relax and get to sleep. The face strap, for example, was just too tight and constrictive on the face, and there’s no way you can drift off gently wearing it. Again, the nose dilators did not feel nice to wear as you want to instinctively touch it and remove it from your face in case it falls inside your nose accidentally.

What we loved about the Sleep Connection was that it’s just like falling asleep wearing a watch, there’s nothing touching your head or face. The DreamHero mouthguard wasn’t so bad as it’s similar to a retainer, but it’s still something inside your mouth which some of the team reported as uncomfortable.

One aspect of snore-stopping products people overlook is the maintenance. With the chinstrap it became sweaty and smelly after a few days and needed washing, and the nose separators also had mucus on them after each night that needed to be washed away. The wristband was the easiest as it never needed washing or changing.

Test Results

After 2 weeks of trialing the anti-snore products there was one we all agreed on as the clear winner: Sleep Connection. It was really down to the simplicity of the device that won us over because you just slip it on before you go to bed like a watch and that’s it, say goodbye to snoring. There’s no uncomfortable chin strap to wrestle over your head or spray squirted up your nostrils just as you’re settling down to sleep. All you have to do is strap it on, adjust the band to your preference, then just a few clicks on the surface of the screen to set the intensity and you can forget about it.

The way the Sleep Connection works is quite ingenious too. It monitors your sleeping throughout the night and when you begin to snore it sends a gentle vibration for around five seconds to your wrist. It’s not enough to wake you up completely but it allows you to feel it during sleep and move your body position to stop the snoring. You don’t have to worry about changing batteries frequently either as it shuts off automatically after 8 hours.

There are 7 vibration modes to choose from to suit the user. We found that mode 4 and 5 were the best for us, as the lower 1 and 2 modes didn’t vibrate enough to stir us from sleep and change position. However, if you are a light sleeper then you probably want something that is gentle like those lower modes, but heavy sleepers can go right up to 6 and 7. At first we thought that the vibrations would be like tiny electric shocks but they weren’t at all and did not cause any discomfort.

Compared to the alternatives such as a bulky CPAP machine strapped to your face making noise throughout the night, the Sleep Connection is a dream. Something to remember too is that when you use a machine like that it can be just as disturbing to those sharing a bed with you as the snoring, so having something you can slip on your wrist to do the same thing is much easier.

It’s never been easier to get a good night’s sleep when you opt for our top choice, the Sleep Connection. You can purchase it directly via the link above and it will be delivered in just a few days. Don’t waste time and money with snoring strips that go over the nose, ill-fitting chin straps or sprays that are nothing more than saline water. Go right to the source of the snoring and buy a Sleep Connection and finally get that refreshing all-night long sleep you and your household have been longing for. Right now they’re available at a discounted price of 58% off and you can even buy multiple products if you have more than one snorer in your household.
